Calendars and Events

Leaders add an event with a name, a category, dates, a start and end time or all day, a location, a link, and a description. Categories give events colors, and a filter shows only the categories you want. Birthdays and anniversaries from the member directory show on the calendar too.

Events can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, or on a custom pattern such as the first and third Sunday of each month. When you change a repeating event, you choose whether to change only that day or the whole series. An event can be limited to chosen members or groups, and only they will see it.

Members open the calendar on a phone or a computer. A computer shows a month or a week, and a phone shows a month or a list. They can tap Remind me on an event to get a reminder by email and phone notification the day before, from noon on the church's clock.

Members can add the church calendar to the calendar on their own phone with a link for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. It updates when events change. Events for chosen members or groups, birthdays, and anniversaries stay in the Hub.

Leaders can export the calendar as a printable monthly grid PDF, a spreadsheet, or a file for Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.
